If your insurance company is not listed here, contact them and ask for a single-case agreement, and tell them to add The Behavior Place to their network! We've tried to join, but they might be more open to listening to their members!

Copays are due at time of service.

We do our best to ensure that we have coverage for children when their 1:1 provider is out; however, things happen and sometimes it is not possible.

If your child’s assigned technician is absent, and no other technician is available to cover their session, your child’s session will be canceled*. Your child MAY NOT attend the center without a 1:1 behavior technician. This means that you may need to drop your child off at the center later, or pick them up earlier in the day.

*If you pay privately for a spot in the Galaxy Kids ABA Preschool Classroom, and your child is safely able to attend without a 1:1, then your child may be able to attend without their technician. This will be determined on a case by case basis to ensure the safety and security of your child and others in the program.

Maybe. Children receiving 1:1 ABA therapy from The Behavior Place for the duration of the school day have their tuition requirements waived. Parents may enter into a separate agreement with the Play Now Early Childhood Center for Before & After Care services for child care, or full tuition for secure reliable child care (for qualifying children). Please be aware that your agreement with Play Now is completely separate from The Behavior Place.

Whether or not you pay copays or coinsurance is dependent upon your health plan with your insurer. 

Maybe. Parents may enter into a separate agreement with the Play Now Early Childhood Center for Before & After Care services for child care before and after session times (for qualifying children). Related service providers may provide services at The Behavior Place during these times.

No. If you have entered into a child care center agreement with the Play Now Early Childhood Center, this agreement is based strictly on enrollment. No credit will be given or substitution of days allowed for absences, for the scheduled closure of the Center (including holidays), emergency closures, delayed openings, cancelled sessions due to absence of 1:1 ABA technicians, pandemics, natural disasters, acts of God, and/or quarantine.

No. Parents assume full responsibility for their child en-route to and from the Center as well as when the child is in their care during drop off and pick up (this includes but is not limited to the parking lot, play area, and/or classroom, etc.).

Medicaid clients may utilize Medicaid Transportation services to and from our facility.

Late Payment Fee & Suspension/Termination of Services Due to Nonpayment

There will be a $35 late payment fee for any invoice past due and services will be suspended immediately. Your child’s spot will be saved for 3 days. After 3 days, services will be terminated, and your child’s spot will be made available to another child on our waiting list.

Late Arrival Fee

There will be a $75 late arrival fee for any patients who arrive more than 15 minutes late to their scheduled session. Fees will be applied to each late arrival.

Cancellation Fee

If 24 hour prior notification is not given, you will be charged $75 for each missed appointment. This will not be covered by your insurance company. 

Non-adherence with Parent Training Requirements Fee

A minimum of 2 hours of parent training must be completed per month. A non-adherence fee of $260 will be charged for each month that 2 hours of parent training are not completed. Attendance during group parent training sessions counts toward this minimum monthly hour requirement.

Late Pick Up Fee

$15 will be charged to your account for 1-15 minutes late, $30 for 16-30 minutes late, etc.
